Google Scholar Profile

I grew up in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts surrounded by its forest, wetlands, rivers, and mountains. Cape Cod has also been significant in my life with its estuaries, beaches, and marine life.

Involvement in environmental conservation began at an early age and continued through my Bachelor of Science Degree in Marine Biology at the College of Charleston and to my current position as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at University of Massachusetts. My professional goal is to continue working with resource management agencies, NGOs, and diverse stakeholder groups to conduct fundamental research and advocate for effective conservation strategies and adaptive management of marine resources and systems.

My research interests encompasses quantitative sciences, spatial and movement ecology, disturbance ecology, conservation biology, and marine policy.
