Our mission is to chart new marine conservation pathways through actionable science

Our research primarily explores marine animal behaviors for enhancing marine sustainability. Understanding how marine life interacts with habitat and adapts to disturbances is critical for the development of effective conservation and management strategies. This is particularly important for marine life, which often have a mismatch between their movement ecology and management.

Broadly, we focus on 1) understanding the spatial patterns of marine animals and 2) investigating behavioral and physiological responses to various stressors, including anthropogenic stressors.
